Design
Packaging, theme and specs
The packaging design of Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft is pretty minimal, which I like. The design mostly sticks to four colors, and instead of a large anime character illustration, there’s only a small chibi character on the box. The character looks like a cute blonde cyborg cat, similar to the cyborg character on Kaku-Meiki DX Ikura Coaster.
Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft is from Peachtoys and is the softer version of the Mimizu Standard. Mimizu (ミミズ) literally means earthworm in Japanese. In onahole design, it refers to long, rounded bumps that resemble worms running along the tunnel walls.
Peachtoys created many other Mimizu versions available, each with their own textures, features, and fun colors. It almost feels like a collectible series, and I’ll definitely try to get them all and review them over time.
As you might already know from my earlier reviews, I’m a huge fan of Peachtoys. Their toys consistently receive very high ratings from me. They put a lot of effort into designing tunnel textures with some of the finest details I’ve ever seen. The level of detail is really impressive. I also love the smell of their toys. It has a strong sweet scent, a bit like beeswax mixed with petroleum (apparently it’s a thing to like the smell of benzene😅)
Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft is from Peachtoys and was released mid 2024. It’s 165mm long with a tunnel length of 130mm, and weighs 410g. It features one closed-holes and is made in Japan with a single layered soft and bouncy TPE.

Feeling
Outer Appearance & Feel
The opening of Kaku-Meiki Mimizu is wide and inviting. One funny thing I noticed is that one of the visual elements on the box, which also resembles the front opening of the onahole, looks a lot like the ChatGPT logo. Now every time I see the ChatGPT logo I can’t unsee it as an onahole, especially because the logo also has a hole in the center.
The middle section of Kaku-Meiki 400 is a simple cylinder that widens again towards the back. I think this construction makes the toy sturdier and less floppy than other onaholes with a similar weight and softness.
I really like the white soft onaholes from RideJapan, and this one is quite close in terms of softness and color. However, Peachtoys wins the material battle for me. They feel equally satisfying, but one thing I didn’t like too much about the RideJapan version was the floppiness, which I also mentioned in my review of Fuwa Ana 1mm. For me, the RideJapan’s white Fuwa material needs that extra outer layer like the one used in Puni Fuwa Mafia to make it epic. But Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu doesn’t need an extra outer layer to be epic.
Mimizu Soft sits at about “-2” on my softness scale.
Inner tunnel
As mentioned earlier, the ‘Mimizu’ (ミミズ) theme refers to long worm-like bumps inside the tunnel. While the name might sound a bit unusual in English, it’s actually a very common texture concept in Japanese onahole design, known for creating smooth, wrapping stimulation that works especially well in softer materials. And the inner texture is really where Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft shines.
The long, thin Mimizu bumps feel really nice. Since Peachtoys loves ultra-fine details in their textures, they also added vertical ridges along the worms that connect them to the next worms. At the end of the tunnel there is an additional chamber designed to create suction and store lubricant, although the suction effect itself isn’t particularly strong.
Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu is nicely tight and hugs you very gently. When inserting, you can clearly feel the worm-like bumps wrapping around you. After a while, the texture begins to feel smoother, creating a great sensation for long, slow edging sessions that become more intense the longer you go. I would place the tunnel at around “-1” on my intensity scale, but the longer you use it, the smoother it feels and it gradually becomes closer to a “-2.”

Care
Cleaning:
Use mild soap or an onahole cleaner with water to rinse your toy thoroughly. A sponge stick can be very helpful for reaching deep inside the tunnel. Once clean, make sure to dry it completely using a drying stick or a soft, absorbent cloth to prevent moisture buildup.
Powdering:
To keep your onahole from getting sticky, apply a light coat of onahole powder or plain cornstarch. Brush off any excess, and it’ll feel just like real skin!
Storing:
Store your toy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. UV rays can damage it, moisture can lead to mold, and heat can warp its shape. Over time, onaholes naturally lose some of their oils, which makes them firmer. This process happens faster if they’re in contact with materials like cotton, paper, or wood, which absorb oil. To minimize this, use a breathable plastic bag or container for storage.
Durability:
Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft is pretty durable. Peachtoys puts a lot of importance on the durability of their onaholes. And with gentle use and proper maintenance, your onahole will last for years!

Rating
I’m giving Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu 400 Soft a very satisfying 9.0 out of 10. There are many amazing dual-layered soft onaholes like Puni Fuwa Mafia or Yuka Ona Shiki Zero. However, Kaku-Meiki Medium Mimizu manages to be sturdy and create an amazing sensation without needing an additional outer layer. The soft TPE feels fantastic, the design is fun and it’s super easy to clean, handle and store.
Currently this is my number one recommendation for anyone looking for a single-layered soft onahole. And If Peachtoys ever creates a dual-layered version with a slightly firmer outer layer, this could very possibly become my first 10/10 onahole.
